DETACHABLE SPEED INCREASING TRUING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small truing device adaptable to a general grinder using a super abrasive grain grinding wheel and capable of rotating a truing tool at a high speed without requiring a separate electric motor for rotationally driving the truing tool. SOLUTION: A device body is detachably mounted on a table where a work rotation driving device for the grinder is provided, and a driving member, an output member and a tool support are rotatably supported on a supporting shaft fixed to the device body. The rotation transmitted from the work rotation driving device to the driving member is increased in speed by a speed increasing mechanism and then transmitted to the output member and the rotation of the output member is transmitted to the tool support via joint means, thus causing the truing of the super abrasive grain grinding wheel with the truing tool mounted on the tool support.
