PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supplement a pressman so as to rapidly arrive at an OK'd proof in this case by remarkably reducing a spoilage generated when a printing speed is changed. SOLUTION: A method for regulating a delivery register for a sheet-fed rotary press comprises the steps of automatically obtaining a registering error occurring at a different printing speed by an automatic register measuring and regulating unit 13 of the press, calculating a register correcting value based on the error, and adding the correcting value to a regulating amount of the unit 13 depending upon the printing speed during printing. The correcting value to be added at this time is always checked by the unit 13, and re-corrected as needed. The thus obtained data is stored in a memory 15, and used for a later job. |
