PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the deficiencies of vegetable chemical substances which are contained in some fruits and vegetables, but deficient in a typical diet, especially in an American diet, and the deficiencies of necessary vitamins and minerals which are deficient in a typical diet. SOLUTION: The vegetable chemical substances in the composition and method of the present invention include sulphoraphane, narengin, hesperidin, narirutin, quercetin, β-carotene, lutein, lycopene and isoflavone. The chemical substances can be obtained from a combination of the following condensates of plants: a condensate of a plant of Cruciferae, bioflavonoid of citrus fruits, a condensate of quercetin, a condensate of natural β-carotene, a condensate of lutein, a condensate of lycopene, a condensate of soybean isoflavone, a condensate of spirulina, a condensate of acerola, a condensate of alfalfa and a condensate of alfalfa/watercress/parsley. The composition can further contain vitamins and minerals. |
