LATEX COMPOSITION AND AQUEOUS ADHESIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polychloroprene latex composition with excellent light discoloration resistance, and an aqueous adhesive using the composition. SOLUTION: This polychloroprene-type latex composition comprises a chloroprene polymer and a hydrotalcite compound. It is used for forming an aqueous adhesive. It is preferable that 100 pts.mass of a chloroprene-type polymer be blended with >=0.01 pts.wt. and <100 pts.wt. of a hydrotalcite-type compound. It is further preferable that the hydrotalcite compound be hydrotalcite.
