PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and clean roll paper holder which enables operation from mounting to cutting of the roll paper with a hand and accepts various kinds of roll paper. SOLUTION: A movable cutting blade 4 is disposed inside a front lid 1 of a box-shaped paper holder, and it is so constructed that an end of paper is pinched between a freely rotating top lid 2 and the front lid 1 to be pulled out, where, paper is cut with the movable cutting blade protruded by tensile force given from pulling down of a paper end 25.
