PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-performance moisture-proof coating by using a non- chlorine resin excellent in a moisture-proof performance and capable of affording the sufficient moisture-proof performance even with the thin film. SOLUTION: This moisture-proof coating is such that, four kinds of coating films 5μm, 10μm, 15μm and 20μm in thickness (allowable error:±2μm), respectively, are made by applying this moisture-proof coating onto a glass plate followed by drying the coating at 110 deg.C for one min. and then at 130 deg.C for 5 min. For the each respective coating film, a regression line: y=ax+b is obtained by method of least squares. In this regression line, coefficient of correlation R is >=0.85, gradient a satisfies 0<a<1,000, and intercept b is satisfies -10<=b<=10 (wherein, x is the reciprocal of each of the coating film thicknesses (μm), and y is the moisture permeability (g/m2.24 h) of each of the coating films determined by the cup method (JIS Z0208: 40 deg.C, 90 %RH).
