PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant attachment and a vacuum cleaner with the same which can well deodorize odors or the like from dust caught in a dust chamber without a motor fan affected by ozone and without an ozone decomposition catalyst becoming air trunk resistance in an ordinary cleaning. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner is provided with a deodorant case 31 equipped with an exhaust air trunk 45 for deodorization to be connected exhaust air trunks 8, 14, 13 which send exhaust air of a motor fan 5 of the vacuum cleaner back to an in-flow side of a dust chamber 2a, an ozone generator 39, equipped in the deodorant case 31, which is a generator of chemical substances like ozone which have either deodorization or both effects in the exhaust air trunk 45 for deodorization, and a deodorant attachment 30 equipped with a decomposition catalyst for chemical substances like ozone 46 fitted at downstream side of ozone and other chemical substances supply part of the exhaust air trunk 45 for deodorization.
