PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bone mixing device for mixing bone cement homogeneously and efficiently. SOLUTION: This bone cement mixing device comprises a mixing chamber 2, a mixing member rotatably attached to the mixing chamber 2, and a driving means rotating the mixing member. In one example, this driving means consists of a handle 7 which can reciprocate in the axial direction with respect to the mixing chamber 2. The movement of the handle in the axial direction is converted to the rotary movement of the mixing member by a gear mechanism 6 between the handle and the mixing member. In the other example, the driving means is supported by a lid assembly 9 of the mixing chamber 2. The assembly and the driving means are detachable from the mixing chamber and the mixing member, and are allowed to be reused in a new mixing chamber and a new mixing member. |
