PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weight, small-sized, low-cost portable hand-carry type massage device capable of providing the acupressure treatment easily by stimulating a required affected part or effective point on the skin surface of a patient. SOLUTION: The massage device comprises a base 2, a motor 3 as a source of rotation drive mounted on the base 2, a rotating shaft 4 supported rotatably relative to the base 2 to rotate with the rotation power from the motor 3, an eccentric cam shaft part 6 with an eccentric cam part 5 on the periphery of the rotating shaft 4, a circular presser body 8 mounted rotatably on the periphery of the eccentric cam shaft part 6, and a clasping board 9 supported with a prescribed gap with the periphery of the presser body 8 for clasping the affected part with the presser body 8. The message device also has a gear mechanism 12 for transmitting the rotation power from the motor 3 to the rotating shaft 4, a clasping board support body 14 attached to the base 2 for supporting the clasping board 9 movably, and an adjusting mechanism 15 for determining the position of the clasping board support body 14 relative to the base 2.
