PURPOSE: A method for controlling a cooling part of an unattended base station is provided to optimize temperature of the unattended base station by controlling cooling function in emergency, thereby improving the reliability of services. CONSTITUTION: An environment monitoring part monitors power failure(201-203). In case of power failure, an AC cabinet panel interrupts input of AC power supply and a rectifier provides DC power supply of a battery, so that an urgent cooler is driven by DC power supply(204-206). A basic service is provided by using DC power supply(207). The environment monitoring part reports environmental state and measures to the upper and confirms power return(208-210). In case of power return, an air conditioner is operated normally by using AC power supply(211). Full services are provided by using DC power supply(212). The environmental monitoring part completes measures from power failure to power return(213). In case of non-power failure, it is determined whether the air conditioner is out of order(220). The urgent cooler is driven by DC power supply(221). The environmental monitoring part compares temperature within the unattended base station and set ideal temperature(222). If actual temperature is higher than ideal temperature, only basic service is provided(223). The current state is reported to the upper and the air conditioner is monitored(224-226). If the air conditioner is not out of order, the air conditioner is operated, full services are provided, and the current state is report to the upper(227-229). If actual temperature is not higher than ideal temperature, full services are provided and the current state is reported to the upper, and the environmental monitoring part monitors the air conditioner(233-235). If the air conditioner is not out of order, the environmental monitoring part compares temperature within the unattended base station and set ideal temperature(240).
