MAGNETOHYDRODYNAMIC RESONATOR

The proposed magnetohydrodynamic resonator can be used in food industry, metallurgy, and other branches of industry for treating liquids in magnetic field. The resonator contains a cylindrical casing with an inlet opening and an outlet opening, and a magnetic system. The magnetic system contains an outside magnetic core, an inside magnetic core, and permanent magnets. The casing is made of diamagnetic material and enclosed by the annular outside magnetic core. The permanent magnets are installed at the side surfaces of the outside magnetic core. At the end surfaces of the casing, flanges with holes are provided. The flanges are made of magnetic material. The inside magnetic core is arranged between the end flanges of the casing. The present invention provides the stability of the resonance frequency of oscillations in liquid when the volume or the composition of the liquid changes.
