PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for an underground structure requiring an easy maintenance and inspection operation and capable of reliably locking a lid body. SOLUTION: This locking device for underground structure 30 comprises receiving pawls 21a and 21b formed on a receiving frame 21, a link type coupling lever 31 arranged on the lid body 20 and having coupling pawls 41 and 42 coupled with the receiving pawls 21a and 21b, and an exciting means 60 invariably exciting the coupling pawls 41 and 42 of the link type coupling lever 31 to be positioned at the opposite positions to the receiving pawls 21a and 21b.
