<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner with which sharp images having enough image density without contamination on the base can be obtained and stable images with time can be obtained. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic toner is used for a device which uses a two-component developer containing magnetic carrier particles and toner and which has a means to supply at least the toner, a means to mix and carry the supplied toner and the developer, a means to carry the developer onto a developer carrying body provided with magnet inside, and a means to bring the developer on the developer carrying body into contact with a latent image carrying body to obtain a toner image. The developer in the device is <=400 g. The toner contains at least a zirconium-containing compound of salicylic acid derivative.</p> |
