PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a High Vision moving picture device wherein a power supply of the device main body can be set to an OFF by simple operation. SOLUTION: The High Vision moving picture device of this invention is provided with a memory 17, an HDD device 19, a CPU 10, a power supply circuit 21, a power supply button 12 and a power supply control circuit 20. Software programs such as an OS and application software programs are installed in the HDD device 19. The CPU 10 reads the software programs from the HDD device 19 to the memory 17 to execute the software program. When the power supply button 12 is turned off, the power supply control circuit 20 gives an off-operation detection signal to the CPU 10. The CPU 10 receives the signal, executes the procedure of terminating the application software programs and the OS under execution, and gives a power OFF permission command to the power supply control circuit 20. The power supply control circuit 20 receiving the signal gives a power OFF switching signal to the power supply circuit 21 so that, the power supply of the device main body is switched off.
