PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a continuous object reproducer in which a plurality of moving images or documents can be reproduced without interruption when they are reproduced by switching. SOLUTION: The continuous object reproducer comprises means 101 for storing the digital data of an object, two means 102, 103 for reproducing an object by storing that data, means 105 for storing a scenario comprising a plurality of scenes, i.e., reproducing sections where mutual objects have no continuity, means 107 for detecting the object of next scene by reading ahead a scene, a storage control means 104 for storing the data of that object in a reproducing means not under reproduction, a switch means 109 for selecting the output from a reproducing means under reproduction, means 110 for displaying a selected output, and means 111 for controlling each section. When one reproduction mean is reproducing, the other reproducing means stores data being reproduced in the next scene and that operation is repeated. Interruption can be eliminated at a point of switching time when a plurality of moving images are reproduced by sequentially switching.
