摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speedometer, for a flying object, in which a light source and a light-receiving optical system for the measurement of the speed of the flying object can be made simple and highly accurate. SOLUTION: The speedometer for the flying object is provided with an optical system 1 in which an ink liquid drop A1 is illuminated with illumination light and in which the optical image A2 of the illuminated ink liquid drop A1 is formed, the time in which the optical image A2 formed by the optical system 1 passes between a photodiode 2A and a photodiode 2B separated by a prescribed distance is measured, and the flying speed of the ink liquid drop A1 is measured. An optical fiber (composed of optical fibers 1A, 1C and a mode diffusion element part 1B) is used at least in a part of the optical path of the optical system 1.
