LINEARITY MODULATING CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the linear distortion of a deflecting circuit by modulating the linearity of a video signal digitally. SOLUTION: In the linearity modulating circuit, a first horizontal synchronizing output which is line-locked to the horizontal synchronizing signal of an inputted video signal is generated and a second clock signal having N-fold (N is an integer) frequency is generated from a first clock signal, a digital horizontal modulation control signal which is synchronized with the first horizontal synchronizing output is generated, and a third clock signal which is modulated into a horizontal period by a digital operation from the second clock signal and the digital modulation control signal.
