PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out stripping of a transfer material from an intermediate transfer belt, when printing on the back side in an image-forming unit of a method, in which a fixing device with an inverted nip constitution is utilized, and both-side printing is carried out. SOLUTION: In the image-forming unit of the method utilizing the intermediate transfer belt 7 and the fixing device 20 of the inverted nip constitution and carrying out both-side printing, a nip 13c between a secondary transfer roll 13a and a backup roll 13b in a secondary transfer part 13 is made serve as the reverse nip or a horizontal nip. |
