PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a binder resin for toner which can impart excellent fixing property, offset resistance or the like to the toner and in which a high mol.wt. component and a low mol.wt. component are uniformly mixed. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the binder resin for the toner, a partial polymerized product (B) with 10 to 70% polymerization degree of vinyl monomers (A) is supplied to a continuous reaction tank and polymerized at 150 to 300 deg.C resin temperature in the reaction tank.
