PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting structure for a balcony, facilitating entrance exit into/from the balcony by reducing a difference in level between a floor and a balcony floor and enabling a drip to be installed on the side of the balcony between the balcony and the floor adjacent to the balcony. SOLUTION: In the supporting structure 1 for the balcony 7, the balcony 7 is supported in such a state as to be adjacent to an upper-story floor part 3 through an arm metallic material 5 fixed to the side end surface 3a of the floor part 3. The metallic material 5 is provided with a fixed plate 51 and a beam part 52 installed integral with the fixed plate 51 so as to protrude sideward below the upper end 51a of the fixed plate 51. The fixed plate 51 is fixed to the side end surface 3a in such a manner that the upper end 51a is located below the floor surface 3b, the beam part 52 is protruded sideward below the floor part 3, and the balcony floor 70 is installed in an upper part.
