摘要 PURPOSE: A method for processing data for an HARQ(Hybrid Automatic Repeat for request) type II/III in a downlink of a wideband wireless communication system is provided to be easily embodied without changing a conventional RLC(Radio Link Controller) protocol entity operation by adding an HARQ-RLC-Control-PDU(Protocol Data Unit) with a new RLC-PDU type without changing a kind and format of an RLC data PDU and a kind and format of a control PDU. CONSTITUTION: An RLC-RLC receives data an upper layer, generates the received data as an RLC-PDU, and transmits the generated RLC-PDU to an RNC-MAC-D(Radio Network Controller-Medium Access Control Dedicated) protocol entity through a logical channel(MAC-D-Data-REQ primitive) such as a DTCH(Dedicated Traffic Channel)(901). An RNC-RLC protocol entity transmits an HARQ-RLC-Control-PDU to the RNC-MAC-D protocol entity through a logical channel(MAC-D-Data-REQ primitive) such as a DCCH(Dedicated Control Channel). The RNC-MAC-D protocol entity receives the RLC-PDU through the logical channel(MAC-D-Data-REQ primitive) such as the DTCH, and transmits the RLC-PDU to an RNC-MAC-C/SH(Common/Shared) protocol entity using an MAC-C/SH-Data-REQ primitive(903). The RNC-MAC-D protocol entity receives an HARQ-RLC-Control-PDU through the logical channel(MAC-D-Data-REQ primitive) such as the DCCH and transmits the HARQ-RLC-Control-PDU to the RNC-MAC-C/SH protocol entity using the MAC-C/SH-Data-REQ primitive(904). The RNC-MAC-C/SH protocol entity performs a DSCH(Downlink Shared Channel) transport scheduling for transmitting the RLC-PDU and the HARQ-RLC-Control-PDU through a transport channel such as a DSCH, converts the RLC-PDU and the HARQ-RLC-Control-PDU into an MAC-PDU and an HARQ-MAC-Control-PDU, respectively, and assigns a TFI1(Transport Format Indicator1) and a TFI2(905). The RNC-MAC-C/SH protocol entity transmits the TFI1 and the TFI2 to a MAC-D protocol entity(906). The MAC-D protocol entity transmits the TFI1 and the TFI2 to a physical layer through a transport channel(PHY-Data-REQ primitive) such a DCH(Dedicated Channel)(909). The RNC-MAC-C/SH protocol entity transmits the HARQ-MAC-Control-PDU to a physical layer of a node B through the transport channel(PHY-Data-REQ primitive) such as the DSCH(908). The physical layer of the node B modifies the MAC-PDU and the HARQ-MAC-Control-PDU as a PDSCH(Physical Donwlink Shared Channel) wireless frame through a modulation procedure such as coding and interleaving, and transmits the PDSCH wireless frame to an UE(User Equipment)(910). The physical layer of the node B generates a TFCI(Transport Format Combination Set) from the TFI1 and the TFI2 and transmits the generated TFCI to the UE trough a physical channel such as a DPCH(Dedicated Physical Channel)(911).
