PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long wavelength conversion type light-emitting device, which utilizes a semiconductor light-emitting element and a phosphor which can emit a light to wavelength longer than that, and to provide its forming method where luminance on a long wavelength side is improved with a minimum content of phosphor. SOLUTION: The light-emitting device is provided, which comprises a light- emitting element arranged at a supporting body, a phosphor which absorbs a part of the light emitted from the light-emitting element and emits the light whose wavelength is longer than that, and a resin which comprises at least a part of the phosphor and encloses the light-emitting element. Here, the volume of the resin is 50-106 times the volume of the light-emitting element. |
