PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent vignetting on a wide angle side caused by the follow-up delay of an image blur correcting optical system in the case of varying the power from a telephoto side to the wide angle side at a high speed. SOLUTION: As for the vibration-proof zoom lens device with the image blur correcting optical system for correcting the image blur positioned close to an image side than a lens group which is moved at varying the power, the device is controlled so that the maximum image moving extent capable of correcting the image blur by the image blur correcting optical system may not exceed a prescribed value on the wide angle side from a prescribed variable power ratio Z1, and also, the maximum image moving extent may become larger than the prescribed value between the variable power ratio Z1 and a prescribed variable power ratio Z2 closer to a telephoto side than the variable power ratio Z1 and also the moving extent may be gradually increased. |
