PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display method for postscript information (12) and a recording medium for postscript information display which can send an electronic document representing personal information corresponding to characteristics of a receiver without increasing the amount of data sent by a sender side nor requiring any extra storage capacity of a sender terminal device. SOLUTION: In a description part which is not displayed in a WWW browser in areas (11, 14) where partial information (10) is described, all postscript information (12) generated for the partial information (10) is described together with an identification code (13) specifying the kind of the postscript information (12). A receiver terminal device having fetched from a network an electronic document having the postscript information (12) and identification code (13) embedded displays the source text information of the electronic document on a display device by using a WWW browsers, and extracts the postscript information (12) specified with the selected identification code (13) from the electronic document and displays it relatively to the display position of the partial information (10) when the identification code (13) is selected. |
