PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for twisting electric wires, from which twisted wires can easily be removed after twisting. SOLUTION: The device of this invention is provided with a clamp releasing part 143 which can release the clamping of every operation handle placed at each toggle clamp 120 when each toggle clamp is halted. The efficiency of releasing is improved dramatically, since the clamp releasing part 143 can drive simultaneously the operation handles 123 of a plurality of the toggle clamps 120 to perform automatically the clamp-releasing operations.
