PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tripod for a surveying device which can be inexpensively used without any other levels and skill. SOLUTION: This tripod for the surveying device is equipped with three leg parts 1 and a head part 2 of the leg parts 1. The head part 2 rockably holds upper ends 3 of the leg parts 1. Outer surfaces 4 of the upper ends 3 of the leg parts 1 are provided with levels 5. Lower ends 18 of at least one leg part 1 are provided with leveling mechanism 14 for slightly adjusting an upper surface 12 of the head part 2 to be horizontal.
