PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fit a clamp type bucket to an arm simply, reliably and safely. SOLUTION: A rod side base 13 and an arm side base 9 are connected together by a shaft 15 to form a fitting device main body 17. The rear end section of an upper semicircular bearing half body 41 at the lower end section of an upper member 40 and the rear end section of a lower semicircular bearing half body 43 at the upper end section of a lower member 42 are connected together by a rotary shaft 44 to form the rod side base 13. The front end sections of the upper semicircular bearing half body 41 and the lower semicircular bearing half body 43 are removably connected together by a connecting means to form a first bearing section 45 for inserting a lower pawl drive transmission shaft 5. A nearly C-shaped second connecting groove section 20 to be inserted into a fixing shaft 2 is provided at the rear section of the outer face section of the arm side base 9. A nearly C-shaped third connecting groove section 21 to be inserted into an upper pawl drive transmission shaft 6 is provided at the tip of the outer face section of the arm side base 9. A shift adjusting means 16 for changing the interval between the second connecting groove section 20 and the third connecting groove section 21 is provided.
