The invention relates to a switch arrangement for adjusting different position parameters of a vehicle seat such as the tilt of the backrest, the tilt and depth of the seat cushion, the tilt of the armrests etc. and provides embodiments that are particularly pleasant and intuitively reliable to use. In particular, the switch arrangements can reproduce the relative positions of the different parts of the vehicle seat crosswise to the longitudinal direction with the positions of the operating elements within an operating area. The switch configuration can be especially advantageously mounted at the end of an armrest where the hand of the seat occupant would rest.
