The invention concerns a sliding anatomical double-compartment knee prosthesis comprising a femoral implant and a tibial implant: the femoral implant (1) comprises two internal (1a) and external (1b) condylar pads assembled at the intercondylar median indentation by a solid part (1c); the condylar pads (1a, 1b) are profiled at the rear to enclose the bone condyles; the condylar pads (1a, 1b) are assembled, at the front, directly by the solid part (1c) without forming a trochlea; the condylar pads (1a, 1b) have, at the indentation, fittings for postero-stabilised guiding (1d) co-operating with complementary fittings (2a) of part of the tibial implant; the tibial implant has a polyethylene tibial plateau (2) mounted mobile in limited rotation in a horizontal plane, in a fixed metal tibial base plate (3); the internal (1a) and external (1b) condylar pads have, in plane view, a symmetrical profile relative to the median axis of the implant, such that the internal condylar pad (1a) for the right knee represents the external condylar pad (1b) for the left knee, and vice versa. |
