PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold structure which prevents the generation of wrinkles in the skin material of a product when a door trim is molded and a method for producing the door trim which can mold a part in which a resin base material is coated with the skin material and a part in which the base material is not coated with the skin material in one process and does not generate defects such as the softening of the skin material, the breakage of a skin, and gloss nonuniformity. SOLUTION: A mold having structure in which when the skin material is fitted to a locating pin, and a male mold and a female mold are made to approach each other, a tension pin is stuck into the skin material is used, after an excess molten resin exceeding a necessary amount to form an upper part, with both molds kept to be separated at a desired distance from each other, is injected, the resin is compression-molded, and when the excess resin has passed through the front surface of a valve installed in a lower part, the molten resin for forming the lower part is injected so that the upper part and the lower part are molded in one process, and the skin material is prevented from being affected by the heat, flow pressure, etc., of the molten resin.
