PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior wall material which is capable of autonomously controlling the humidity to be within the relative humidity range of 50 to 70%, being a comfortable relative humidity range, and decomposing/removing offensive odor, harmful chemicals, stains, bacteria or the like, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The interior wall material having moisture absorbing/releasing functions and a photocatalytic function is characterized in that pore diameter- controlled γ-alumina porous bodies having a pore diameter distribution of 20 to 60 Åin radius and photocatalyst porous bodies having controlled pore diameters are blended. |
