FRONT BUMPER MOUNTING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength and rigidity of a bumper and to reduce the number of parts, cost and weight. SOLUTION: A bumper bracket upper part lower side flange face 31a is integrally connected in a center part of its entire width to an upper part flange face 4a of a U-shaped first cross member 4 attached to front ends of right and left side rails 5 and 5 with an opening facing forward. A bumper bracket lower part upper side flange face 32a is integrally connected in a center part of its entire width to a lower part flange face 4c of the U-shaped first cross member attached to the front ends of the right and left side rails with the opening facing forward. The front bumper 1 is attached by fastening mounting holes 1d of its web face 1b and mounting holes 31d and 32d of an upper part web face 31b and a lower part web face of a bumper bracket with bolts 8 or rivets.
