<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ACC system for a vehicle applicable even to a general road where ACC is released for pedal operation necessary of a brake, accelerator, etc., by a foot when the vehicle is placed in a red signal and turned to the right/left, in the case of running on the general road by the conventional inter-vehicle distance control running system (ACC, Adaptive Cruise Control). SOLUTION: A barrier-free type running system, installing a manually operating device of an accelerator and a brake in the vicinity of a steering to be additionally associated with ACC so that ACC running can be made even on a general road and driving can be made even by a handicapped person having trouble in the leg, is provided. The running system is provided with a manual operation control system of driving and braking of a vehicle, characterized by having a manually operating function of the accelerator and the brake having interchangeability with a two-pedal type foot pedal operating function using one foot to make manual operation and foot pedaling selectable or concurrent use capable, and a running control system operating the vehicle by an inter-vehicle distance control mode or a constant speed running control mode when a preceding vehicle is detected, the manual operation control system of the driving and braking of the vehicle is associated with a running control function.</p> |
