PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance workability and reduce noises by reducing the vibration of a housing caused by the striking of a hammer against an anvil which constitutes the source of vibration within an impact tool, thus alleviating the fatigue of an operator who uses the impact tool, even if the tool is used for a long time. SOLUTION: A vibration insulator 21a is provided between the colliding portions of the anvil 17 and the hammer 15 and the housing 10.
