<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instinctively select a virtual object inside a virtual space. SOLUTION: A virtual object selecting method comprises a display 11 for displaying the virtual space, a mouse 12 used by an operator for selecting operation, a recording medium 13 storing a program, and a computer 14 which can read and execute the program stored in the recording medium 13. The program includes a step for selecting a specific virtual object as a target object operable by the operator from a plurality of selectable virtual objects inside the virtual space with reference to a relative positional relationship between a plurality of virtual objects inside the virtual space and the position representing a view point of the operator inside the virtual space such as the operator's view point position inside the virtual world and the virtual object position substitutable for the operator's view point when the operator carries out selecting operation of the virtual object inside the virtual space displayed on the display 11 by means of the mouse 12.</p> |
