PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved fuel cell device having water balance. SOLUTION: This fuel cell device is provided with a fuel cell unit having, at least, a fuel cell and a gas generator generating a hydrogen rich medium intending to supply hydrogen to the fuel cell unit. In this device, a single stage oxidation unit is provided with a first separator for separating water from the hydrogen rich medium in the upstream of a single stage, and a decompression valve between the first separator and the stage. A multistage oxidation unit is provided with the separator for separating water from the hydrogen rich medium in the upstream of the last stage of the oxidation unit and a decompression valve between the first separator and the last stage. |
