PURPOSE: A method for automatically remotely controlling a TV receiver is provided to remove the man power required for wired connection and the quality program due to the mistakes of workers by controlling images with communication protocol between an automatic controller and a television. CONSTITUTION: An automatic controller outputs key data informing that remote automatic control starts to enter into a remote automatic control mode. Image controlling key data required is generated based on the state of current screen inputted through a camera(38) for automatic control. The current screen state is controlled using the generated image controlling key data. It is judged if the controlled screen state becomes a desired state or not. When the controlled screen state does not become a desired state, the aforementioned operation is repeated. When the controlled screen state becomes a desired state, remote automatic control completion key data is generated. Then, controlled data is stored in a storage means and the remote automatic control mode is canceled.
