PURPOSE: Cooling structure of an air pump for an aquarium is provided to effectively eliminate the heat generated from the air pump by adopting a housing formed with an elongate air passage within a damper. CONSTITUTION: In an air pump(10) for an aquarium provided with a damper(30), a housing composed of an upper housing(41) and a lower housing(40) separable coupled with each other is provided on the damper. Plural air passage holes communicating with the top surface of the upper housing are formed, and plural air entrance ports(43) are projected from the left sides and the right sides of the upper and the lower housings. The upper housing is provided with plural partitions(44) along the air entrance ports on the inner surface thereof.
