PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a file attachment E-mail in a portable wireless terminal is provided to easily write an E-mail having large contents and transmit the written E-mail by embedding a memory for storing the E-mail in the portable wireless terminal and storing a previous written or a file received from a PC in the memory. CONSTITUTION: A portable wireless terminal writes a new E-mail by a new E-mail writing request of a user(102,104). The written new E-mail is stored in a memory(106,108). The stored new E-mail is transmitted to an object terminal(110,112). A list of the E-mail stored in the memory of the portable wireless terminal is displayed to the user(200,202). The user selects a transmission object E-mail or a correction object E-mail from the E-mail list(204). The contents of the selected E-mail is confirmed and corrected(104). The confirmed or corrected E-mail is stored in the memory of the portable wireless terminal(106,108). The stored E-mail is transmitted to the object terminal(110,112).
