The device includes a first mechanical unit (9,12,7,21) for passing from a first functioning position to a second functioning position, this unit putting into play a thermally actuable unit (29) for retaining the device in the first position. This unit preferably cooperates with springs (21,31) in a manner to ensure a passage from the first position to the second position in which the unit is thermally active, this unit being a fuse cooperating a lever (9) having a spring in the first position.
