PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately grasp the state of a fault actually occurring in an analysis of a software malfunction of a digital broadcasting receiver from a remote side and to suitably deal with the state. SOLUTION: In order to grasp a state of a satellite digital broadcasting receiver 111 of a user's house if the fault occurs during viewing the digital broadcasting receiver 111, managing data indicating a interior state is uploaded. This management data includes, for example, status information in the program, flag information at an error occurring time, various type storage data or a program counter and the like. They are periodically (at an interval of several seconds) uploaded, and what state the software actually is and whether the fault occurs or not are analyzed. Contents of the malfunction of the software are analyzed from these managing data and the state of the fault listened from a user, further a state of a fault to be predicted is reproduced, and then the program is suitably corrected.
