<p>The invention relates to a method of identifying plant-specific polypeptides and nucleic acids encoding them which are suitable as sites of action for finding herbicides, to the use of the polypeptides identified for identifying new, herbicidally active compounds, and methods of finding modulators of these polypeptides.
