A method for transferring annotations associated with a draft electronic transcript to a revised electronic transcript, the method determines if the revised electronic transcript is derived from the draft electronic transcript (3), and if so, creates annotations in the revised electronic transcript (4) based on the annotations associated with the draft electronic transcript.
