<p>The invention concerns a method which consists in: providing each animal (3) with a beacon (11) transmitting a limited range identification signal (10) including an identifier of said animal (3) to local units (1) including each at least a presence detector (2), incorporating a receiver (5) associated with a corresponding zone, designed to receive said identification signal (10); determining whether said identifier appears in a list of identifiers (10) authorised to be in said zone; said list having been previously stored in each local unit (1); transmitting from the local unit (1), to the central unit (18), a warning signal when a presence is detected in the absence of identifier or the detected identifier does not appear on said list.</p> |
