PURPOSE: A pre-caching algorithm is provided to download web pages, with much possibility for a user to move to and browse, at unused resources, and output the web pages stored at the unused resources if the user tries to move to the web pages so that it can enhance a web search speed. CONSTITUTION: The algorithm comprises steps of searching for target web pages, linked by an icon, an image or a moving picture on a current web page, in a data storage of a user computer or a pre-caching server e.g. a proxy server by using a program executed in a background of the user computer or the proxy server(S205), downloading linked target web pages at a specific folder by executing the program(S206), displaying the target web pages if the user clicks on the image, the icon or the character linked in the current web page(S207,S208), searching for target pages linked on the current displayed web pages, checking if the linked target page is stored, and downloading the linked target page in the case that the page is not stored.
