PURPOSE: To provide a vehicle side door unlocking device simple in constitution and easily installable on a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A door closing device 1 is provided with a battery 21 changed by current application to the door closing device 1. In the case a vehicle power source cannot be obtained, a side door locking device 13 is unlocked by the operation of an internal unlocking switch 14 or an external unlocking switch 15, with the battery 21 as the power source.
