PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition excellent in adhesion, capable of extremely changing the layer structure of a cured product, capable of providing not only the cured product having a low modulus and a high elongation, but also the product having a high modulus and a high tensile tear strength by reducing the particle diameters of epoxy resin particles dispersed in the cured product and also increasing the amount of the epoxy resin in the matrix, having a sufficient curing rate, and capable of providing the cured product excellent in weather resistance. SOLUTION: This rubber composition comprises (A) a silyl group-containing ethylene-α-olefin-nonconjugated polyene random copolymer rubber containing a specific hydrolyzable silyl group, (B) an epoxy resin, (C) a silane coupling agent, (D) a silanol condensing catalyst and (E) an epoxy resin curing agent.
