PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide reinforcing metal fittings capable of further reinforcing the joint portions of wood members by increasing the joint strength. SOLUTION: In these fittings, from the positions at inner sides with the same distance respectively from both the ends of long sides L1 to L3 of rectangular-shaped steel plates, cuts CU1 to CU4, CU9, and CU10 parallel to short sides S1 to S4 and cuts CU5 to CU8, CU11 and CU12 parallel to long sides L1 to L4 in a direction of mutually coming closer from the end points of the cut CU1 to CU4, CU9, and CU10 described above, the steel plate is bent at the bendable virtual lines IM1 to IM8 and IM10 to IM13 as ridgelines; with the predetermined virtual bending lines IM9, IM14 and IM15 in bent state as ridgelines, reinforcing fittings 18 and 19 are used for the wood jointing portions. Also, a first plate portion 20A and a main body portion 24 having a second plate portion 20B extended in a right angle direction from the first plate portion 20A, and a reinforcing fittings 20 equipped with a holding portion 25 fixed between the first and second plate portions 20A and 20B is used. Thus, the joint strength at the jointing portion can be reinforced much higher.
