PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission type light scattering sheet capable of directing diffused light. SOLUTION: The transmission type light scattering sheet is constituted of plural layers having a co-continuous structure formed by plural polymers. The plural layers have average periodic sizes of the co-continuous structure different from one another. The sheet may have, for example, a first layer (e.g. a layer having 1.5-4 μm average periodic size) having the co-continuous structure and a second layer (e.g. a layer having an average periodic size larger than that of the first layer by 0.5-8 μm) having the co-continuous structure and the first and the second layers may be adjacent to each other. The ratio of the average periodic size of the first layer to the average periodic size of the second layer may be e.g. the first layer/the second layer = 1.3/1-4/1 level and the ratio of the thickness of the first layer to the thickness of the second layer may be the first layer/the second layer = 1/1-10/1 level.
