<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe connecting member and pipe coupling structure assuring simple operations to lay pipings and a high anti-seismic property. SOLUTION: The invention includes a pipe coupling structure and a flexible connection pipe 3 mounted on a pipe coupling 1 for connecting a branch pipe 9, wherein the base end of the flexible connection pipe 3 is enlarged diametrically to form a socket 31 to be fitted on a cylindrical connection part 23 of the pipe fitting 1, and a circumferential lip 32 is provided on the inside surface of the flexible connection pipe 3 at its forefront part, and at the base of this lip 32, the peripheral edge of the pipe 3 is extended to form a riser part 34, and a ring 5 to press the lip 32 is fitted in a ring fitting groove 33 provided circumferentially on the lip 32. This pipe coupling structure allows omitting any process to fasten the branch pipe 9 with a band, etc., for preventing its slipping off, and when tremors have occurred due to an earthquake, etc., the riser part 34 contacts with the peripheral wall of the branch pipe to restrict dislocation of the connection pipe 3 from the branch pipe 9 so that the branch pipe 9 is prevented from slipping off.</p> |
